Thoughts on moving this page to Statue of Mahatma Gandhi, London? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:02, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ham II: Curious what you think. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:02, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sorry, just came across your reply on another talk page, saying there's a statue of Gandhi in Tavistock Square. Is this one notable enough for an article? If not, I'd suggest moving the Parliament Square page because the disambiguation is only necessary if another article conflicts. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:07, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think the Tavistock Square statue merits an article. It’s a Grade II listed building and It should have significant coverage in multiple reliable sources; I’ve found one here. Ham II (talk) 07:09, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ham II, Thanks for confirming. Makes sense to keep "Parliament Square" in the title then. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:57, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Did Gandhi have racial views?[edit]

I am intrigued by the fact 'racist' was put on his statue during the wave of BLM protest related attacks. Was he known to have views that were considered detrimental to particular races? If Gandhi did, then they could be summarily mentioned here with due citation.Cloptonson (talk) 11:04, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
