Wiki-break

I will be taking a wiki-break for an indeterminate amount of time to focus on other things. I will be back, of course, as if anybody could stay away from this place for too long, but I do not know when. I will be back when I am dying to be here. Right now I am feeling very burnt-out in regards to my work here, and I want to gain back my energy. When I return, you will know. Thank you very much and have a nice day.--Chili14 22:30, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response

Hey, know the feeling (burnt-out). "Take a good break, and get re-focused," is how I deal with it. Have a good one. Thanks for the comments. Editor19841 01:07, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Denver 2008 userbox

Hello, I noticed that you have recreated Template:User Denver2008 after it's deletion. I thought I should point out WP:GUS, which states that userboxes, especially those relating to politics, religion, and other beliefs, should be moved to userspace. This box in particular has been moved to User:1ne/Userboxes/Denver2008, and the incoming links have been moved to point there. The template space is no longer necessary and will be deleted again at some point in the future. I just thought you should have an explanation of why this is happening. —Mira 07:12, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am back

Hello. I have returned. I will be editing again now. Unfortunately, I will not be able to edit as much as I was able to before due to the fact that I have entered high school, and I am getting used to it, and it is taking up all my time, so I will only be able to edit on weekends, and even then very little. Please bear with me as I begin this new chapter of my life. Thank you and have a nice day.--Chili14 01:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your ideas

I responded on my talk, but I'm posting here as well. I think by the time I get permission for the screenshot of the poll results on the Ritter website, the poll will be out of date -- assuming I can even get permission. Instead I created a table (with color even!) with the results on it, which you can see here. However, after looking at the candidates' articles and the one for the race itself, I'm not sure where to put it, as there is already a table with poll results stretching back in time. Any thoughts? --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 19:57, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response

Glad to here your feelin' better! Bronchitis isn't fun. Anyway: the table is great; use of color, format, all well done. The current poll charts I've got up (here) detail a longer history of polling, and if we could incorporate the format you've got (here) and a more in-depth poll history... we may just have a perfect combo. What do you think? Editor19841 (talk) 23:27, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I didn't respond yesterday. (I had just done zoo research and was all fired up to expand the article.) Sounds like a plan; I'll start on it now! Also, if I remember, next time I'm at the central library I'll see what I can find about the stock show. The article needs a lot of work, first and foremost I think would be a source other than the stock show website. --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 19:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I added a colorized version of the table to Bill Ritter (politician). Please let me know what you think, and if you like it, I'll add it to the other relevant articles. Feel free to revert if you don't think it turned out very good. I like it, though. --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 19:42, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response 2

I too was out for a couple days - without notice (sorry for the delay). I like what you've done with the poll table, first off. It'd be worth possibly incorporating into the Gov election article and Beauprez, etc. I'm going to do a little research myself on the stock show, but I'm going to browse the web a little to see what I can find. Let me know how it's all goin', I'll do the same. Thanks for the comments. Editor19841 (talk) 23:47, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check w/uploaders

Hey, I just wanted to remind you that you should probably check with the people who uploaded a photo about what the contents of the photo is before writing or making changes to it's caption. You don't want to misrepresent what the photo is. Thanks, Vertigo700 20:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response

No problem. Just wondering... was this in regards to a particular edit? If so... Editor19841 (talk) 23:40, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can I help with anything?

I feel like I want to help people with stuff that might be causing them stress or that they might be having a difficult time with. Just say the word, and I will try to do something. Also, I really enjoyed your userpage before you made it what it is now. Please revert it!!:D--Chili14 21:33, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Response

Good to hear from ya'. If I need a hand I'll be sure and drop you a note, and you do the same if you need anything. This may be sooner than later for me, as my schedule is getting bigger and harder to manage as we go into fall. As for the user page bit, I was thinking the same thing - and secretly looking for someone to say something like "Hey? What happened to the CNN link?!" Thanks for the nudge. It'll be back in business in seconds. Editor19841 (talk) 23:29, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
