Untitled[edit]

True, the Capricon chair (myself) did create this page, but I strove to be as neutral as possible in order to avoid a Conflict of Interest. If there is an issue in the neutrality of this page, then please let me know what it is so that it can be fixed. Also, as you can see, I created a new account to avoid the username conflict issue. Revisions of November 2015[edit]

Consistent with the discussion at the "articles for deletion" nomination, I have converted this into a list article. To do this, most of the introductory material was removed (and I note that much of this material did not address the convention itself, but the sponsoring organization). I also made clear that most of the material in the table came from the web site for the organization, and gave an explicit link to the specific web site page that is hosting that information. Finally, I made the infobox more general with respect to its location (because it was telling us about the venue of the upcoming convention, which I found inappropriately promotional) and removed the unsourced statement as to attendance. Regarding the latter point, if reliable attendance figures exist for particular years, they should be appear (with references, of course) in a new column in the table. I also removed some unnecessary external links and a few instances of over-linking in the article.

I did not verify the information in the table. I also note that some of the web pages for earlier conventions still exist and an interested editor might be able to make the post-1998 referencing more robust by citing to those particular web sites (as opposed to relying on the single list in the site for the 2016 convention).
