How Is This Person Notable?[edit]

I do not believe this person merits an article as he does not meet the notability requirements of WP. Someone should either show cause or remove it. 98.194.39.86 (talk) 10:34, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Needs work[edit]

Patterson is certainly notable-- a member of the National Academy of Sciences, an accomplished scientist and academic. But the article has errors and is woefully incomplete to the point of being misleading. A decent article could be made just by paying attention to the National Academy and Society of Vertebrate Paleontology secondary sources cited in the article.
