Yahyaabad (Persian: يحيي اباد), also Romanized as Yaḩyáābād, Yahyābād, and Yakhyyabad,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Qaqazan-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,857 in 565 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,582 people in 672 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,060 people in 871 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
