Kaneshkin (Persian: كنشكين,) also Romanized as Kaneshkīn, Kaneshgīn, and Kanishkīn; also known as Kereshkin, Kashgīn, and Kīshkīn,^[3] is a village in Qaqazan-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,705 in 387 households.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,444 people in 413 households.^[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 976 people in 299 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
