Happy New Year from Apparition11

Happy New Year!
I hope that 2016 has many great things in store for you! Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 18:14, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
@Apparition11: Thank you! While you're here, what do you think about my layout change on my talk page? (See the diff.) Does it make sense? Amaury (talk) 18:30, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Yep, looks good to me! :) Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 18:35, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Happy New Year from Sam Sailor

(Unknown artist, Norway, 1916)

I've revdeleted the last vandalistic edit, but since it's your talk page, I figured I ought to remind you that I'll revrestore it (or "revundelete" it?) if you want it to be visible for whatever reason. Nyttend (talk) 01:07, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

@Nyttend: Thank you, Nyttend. Much appreciated. You can leave it deleted since you felt it was purely disruptive. I actually didn't see it as I was out. What was it, more or less? Amaury (talk) 02:11, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
The user in question was leaving identical messages at random pages all over the place: I'm so sorry for edits but this was error bacause my coputer mouse is broken, sorry bouquet of flowers for you! The words bouquet of flowers were a link to a shock image; if that hadn't been included, of course I wouldn't have deleted the edit. If you're curious about the context, see WP:ANI#AlkReadEditView historyautomated edits; the account that left this note was an obvious sock of the account discussed in this thread. Nyttend (talk) 02:20, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Check out this, lol it's proof that the IP is for Australia Toowoomba Telstra no matter what they say. They keep editing the shared IP tag on their talk page. CrashUnderride 08:37, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

I reversed your edit back to what it was because the actress in question does appear in the episode, just not as part of the main story. Cindylover1969 (talk) 21:01, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

As that wasn't part of the episode or story, it doesn't count and she was therefore absent. Amaury (talk) 21:37, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Going by the saying "If it's not on the page, it's not on the stage," it does count and she was therefore present. I'm putting it back. Cindylover1969 (talk) 21:55, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Girls, girls. Now, there's this crazy thing that I know Amaury is aware of, it's called a citation (or a source) for the information. Cindylover, I would hope you're also aware and that if there's no source, you shouldn't add it. Just a thought. CrashUnderride 22:07, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

Re: this edit – is there any particularly reason not to include that in the lede? For TV shows, I generally think the show's airing dates (i.e. premiere thru to final episode) are rather quite germane, and belong in the lede. So is there some guideline on this that I'm missing?... TIA. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:36, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

I don't think this was appropriate, unless the user has a history of disruptive editing from other IPs, which I'm not aware of. That IP has made three edits total, and that could have been a test edit. nyuszika7h (talk) 09:45, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Although the previous two edits don't seem constructive either, they haven't really made enough disruptive edits to need an only warning at this point. nyuszika7h (talk) 09:47, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
@Nyuszika7H: I really don't have any patience nowadays for vandals who think it's fun to do what they do. Amaury (talk) 18:02, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Hyphenation

I noticed you've been correcting "one-hour special event" to "one hour special event". I'm pretty sure the hyphenated form is correct in this case, it's like "10 years old" and "10-year-old child". The hyphenated form is also used in Disney's press releases. nyuszika7h (talk) 09:59, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
