Bengali => Bangla[edit]

I am having a request of edit of the lang-bn template/tag to display "Bangla" instead of "Bengali". as Bangla is the most common name and more used word than the word Bengali. Thank you. বব২৬ (talk) 05:50, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox, to which I have added |lit={{{lit|}}}, which adds an option to include a literal translation. This makes this template consistent with the template’s documentation following this proposal for the parameter's inclusion. Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of the sandbox (revision 736477566), which I have converted to use Template:Language with name and transliteration (like Template:Lang-pa and some others), allowing passing transliteration into the template, as well as the parameters User:Rystheguy added back in October.
