Nearly all points in this article are wrong. The terrible painting is not made by Willem van Bemmel or his circle. See modern literature: Wolf Eiermann, Willem van Bemmel, Petersberg 2007.
Sorry for this rather late answer. You are probably right about the painting, but since it was a landscape I used it. I will remove it now since it's not even the type of landscape he made. As for the other points in the article, I have just taken the info from a period biography and then checked it against the info taken directly from the RKD databases, so you can contact the RKD if you feel any points are incorrect.Jane (talk) 07:41, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
