Rationale for deletion of disambiguation page[edit]

Per the WP:Disambig page, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the acronym for the premier professional orchestra of the state of Western Australia is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the orchestra. - Dravecky (talk) 08:32, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with this and have removed the speedy. I've started a discussion at Talk:WASO. I also think that at the very least you should have posted your rationale on the orchestra talk page as well to give people with an interest in the orchestra a chance to comment as well. I suggest further discussion talks place on the disambiguation page talk page as the most obvious central location to hold this discussion. Dpmuk (talk) 11:56, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Current programming[edit]

I'm unable to locate any information regarding the current programming following the change of ownership, so I've removed the prior web site and genre indications on the principle that no information is better than wrong information. The web site still exists and is current, so it is possible that the station continues to air Robert Namer's programming, or perhaps it is a simulcast of WGSO. Any additiobnal information would be welcome.StreamingRadioGuide 02:40, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
