Copyright problem removed[edit]

Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:00, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Needs major edit[edit]

There are way too many quotes and minor projects listed. Reads like a hagiography. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 21:49, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I took a swing at some of the obvious stuff, but still reads like a CV and is generally not well organized. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 22:03, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Banners removed[edit]

Hi, I've taken down all the banners (COI, advert, close paraphrasing) as I've heavily edited and rewritten this article. I've removed all of the quotes from the artist himself and removed the publicity tone of the whole thing... including gratuitous photos. Added a number of titles to the bibliography and general tidying, fixes, concision. I think it's good to go. Hesperian Nguyen (talk) 19:32, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 6 July 2021[edit]

Mural by artist Stephen Powers painted during the 2020 Covid-19 shutdown in New York.

Not done There's a legible image of one panel of this artwork already in the gallery. This particular photo isn't very clear. That's assuming what you're asking is to place this picture in the article somewhere, which you didn't state. JesseRafe (talk) 19:40, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
