Merger proposal

There is an overlap of information with List of LGBT characters in television‎, which has a Bisexual section. I propose moving everything from here into the above mentioned article. Thoughts, anyone? AD (talk) 11:04, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

I agree! –anemoneprojectors– 16:49, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

2021 re-creation of list

Due to the page size of article List of LGBT characters in television and radio becoming too large, a discussion about the size took place 2020–21, and by consensus the individual sections were split-off into separate articles (i.e. List of lesbian characters in television, List of gay characters in television, List of bisexual characters in television, List of transgender characters in television, List of LGBT characters in radio and podcast programs). That's exactly right. The discussion was and is a very productive one. --Historyday01 (talk) 14:12, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

Choosing an image for the list

@User:Pyxis Solitary, since you reversed my addition of an image, saying "Why should he be selected as representative of this list? Adding images needs consensus. And if there are going to be images, it should be images of the CHARACTERS. And if it can't be based on everyone having a say -- it's best not done." If are going to say that, then add a copyrighted image yourself, a composite image, or something better. I would predict that it would be removed by a bot, as that's happened to me when I've tried to add NFCC images in the past. I'm not really sure of a replacement, but perhaps there is something here, here or here. Historyday01 (talk) 02:43, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

"perhaps there is something here...." All those files relate to the subject of bisexuality, but this is not an article about the sexual orientation or the bisexual community. It's also not a list about bisexual actors or actors in general. This article is a list of television characters that are bisexual. If there is going to be an image included in the page it should be an image of a bisexual character in a television program because that's what the article is about. There are many character pages that contain an image of the character; some are screenshots but most are images from press kits promoting the program. These are a few of the ones that are bisexual: Claire Bennet, Pamela Swynford De Beaufort, Stella Gibson, Clarke Griffin, Annalise Keating, Sara Lance, Ellaria Sand, River Song, Number Three, Callie Torres, Chuck Bass, Felix Gaeta, Owen Harper, Oberyn Martell. I can agree with that, that it should be a bisexual character. I'll look through the ones you've listed and try to come up with a better one. Historyday01 (talk) 15:23, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
