Merger[edit]

I've proposed merging List of LGBT characters in animation into List of animated television programs with LGBT characters. They're pretty much about the same thing, but the latter has more information.--Cattus talk 20:03, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I protest this merger proposal. They are related but are far from being the same thing; That list is a list of characters, this is a list of television programs. Ncboy2010 (talk) 21:37, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It should be merged. The main list might not even pass Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Stand-alone lists. The scope is very unclear and lacks a general reliable source for the programs listed. It might be better to just propose the lists for deletion. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 06:03, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I might not understand exactly what you mean, but the scope itself seems very straightforward to me.
  • Each character must be:
  1. Individually notable (References are lacking, but could be added. I've removed all unsourced redlinks)
  2. From an animated media (Films, TV shows, CGI)
  3. Homosexual, Bisexual or Transgender (Explicitly, There should be no "Rumoured" or "Implied")
Please let me know if I'm missing something, thanks! Ncboy2010 (talk) 11:15, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if there are no further objections, I'll proceed to remove the merge tags. Thanks! Ncboy2010 (talk) 13:24, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sailor Moon-Character Zirkonia[edit]

The female Sailor Moon Character Zirkonia is not homo-, bi- or pansexual. They changed only her sex in the English dub.--77.3.70.227 (talk) 10:37, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Legend of Korra[edit]

Why was the section on Legend of Korra removed? Many sources view the finale as including a lesbian relationship, and it is much more obvious than some other items on this list. Alexwho314 (talk) 05:53, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure. Re-adding it. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 05:59, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Evergreen, I feel like you are responsible for this article. I hope you'll read this. (I am not familiar with wiki-editing, just created this acc). Please remove "One of the creators of the show Bryan Konietzko confirmed that korra and asami are indeed involved in a romantic relationship." from the Korrasami section. The source is NOT valid. The source quotes a blog entry that is a troll. Everyone could write such blog entry. I would suggest to leave LoK on the page, but state in the Notes, that it is not 100% clear. If you have any questions, why the source is not valid, PM me (or somehow contact me, I don't know how wikipedia works). My username is Poisoned_Melon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Poisoned Melon (talkcontribs) 14:06, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that suggestion. I fixed it to have better wording and better sources. Alexwho314 (talk) 18:27, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mass Deletion[edit]

I noticed that this page has recently undergone some massive changes. Most of the article's contents have been deleted due to lack of sources. However, it might be better to restore the deleted entries with sources. This would prevent the unneeded loss of entries while preserving only verified ones. Removal of Adventure Time section and Shizuru Kuwabara[edit]

The whole "Bubbeline" shipping was confirmed to have been false on three accounts. Thus it should be removed.

Shizuru from Yu Yu Hakusho has never shown any signs of being a lesbian in either the manga or anime. In addition, the Yuricon source does not seem to be a very reputable one. 67.164.113.251 (talk) 21:07, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikia is not a reliable source. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 01:48, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Did you not even bother to look through the reference links? There was a deleted tweet, a Reddit AMA among other things confirming my statement.67.164.113.251 (talk) 03:34, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I did. Would be OR at the least. Need rs to say it. Wikia still not rs. Also tweet not specific enough to use directly. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 03:38, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
