Are there any other sources about this book?[edit]

I’m not sure if this meets the notability requirement for books, are there any independent high-quality sources that cover it? FortunateSons (talk) 23:12, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You can check the references of the article for that. DMH223344 (talk) 15:53, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’m aware. This mondo article does not appear to be wholly independent, and I’m not sure about the reliability of the others. A quick search did not show any alternatives, but it’s possible that this was caused by my location. FortunateSons (talk) 16:08, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you doubt the reliability youll have to explain why. DMH223344 (talk) 16:15, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, let’s start with independence: the Arab Center works with the Arab Studies Institute and with her (she is on the board of the ASI). She has also been a speaker at their events, which I would hardly describe as independent. Examples: [1] [2]
Additionally, while not always problematic, citing think tanks in contentious issues is generally not great
Mondo has it’s own issues, but the style of at least some of the reviews is definitely concerning. FortunateSons (talk) 17:26, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article is a summary of the book's content. What is contentious about it? DMH223344 (talk) 17:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The topic of the book is highly contentious and is likely to be wholly affected by Wikipedia:ARBPIA. At least partially relying on sources which are definitely biased and at least somewhat dependent is not appropriate in such a case. FortunateSons (talk) 18:23, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
