Starting: a note[edit]

Just "A" thru "G", for the moment. ...more to follow. (from the SonoranDesert of Ariz)- ...-Mmcannis 04:55, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Context[edit]

This page needs a LOT more context. Someone should be able to go straight to this article and be able to understand exactly what it's about. I looked up Amarna letters and I still don't understand it. Propaniac 20:33, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read "Amarna letters LIST": Amarna letters#Amarna Letters List; it is not an easy read. (from theSonoranDesert-Arizona) ..Mmcannis 06:16, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
2nd note–I've updated the introduction, with a minimum of wikification. And I added the three obvious article Links: Canaan, Levant, and the Amarna letters. I will leave the link tag on the article. (from theSonoranDesert-) ..Mmcannis 15:05, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still unclear what this article is[edit]

How are these localities and their rulers RELATED to the Amarna letters themselves? Propaniac 13:31, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delete those where there is no letter referenced[edit]

Without a letter, the places and names seem pretty pointless. Take URU URU Salaam KI for example, I can't even find any references for it except by the editor who added it. I think everything without an Amarna letter should be removed. I'll add a couple of links to the letters. dougweller (talk) 17:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
