Single release[edit]

According to the references I found, the song was released as a single. ref 1 ref 2. Also since the song has charted in radio charts (Panama, Honduras Pop, Mexico Espanol Airplay), it must have been sent to radios. If it hadn't radio release, it was not eligible to enter those charts which are totally based on radio. So basically it should have been released as a single or at least a promotional single to be able to chart. @Brankestein آرمین هویدایی (talk) 17:59, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The thing with this record is that 9 music videos were released simultaneously with the album but not all of them were referred to as singles. I understand what you mean about radio releases but nowadays non-singles songs (without music videos) from popular albums can enter radio charts, like Bad Bunny's "Ojitos Lindos". Daddy Yankee's Legendaddy also has the track "El Rey de lo Imperfecto" which charted in El Salvador despite not having a music video nor being referred anywhere as a single or a promotional single, so I'm kinda confused about what to do with these songs. @Brankestein Well I think since there are actually sources referring "Agua" as a single, we can consider it here as well. (as you said nowhere refers "El Rey de lo Imperfecto" as a single, so that would be a different case.) As you mentioned, the fact that it had music video is not enough reason to consider the track a single, while it had radio airplay in several countries and there are sources calling it a single, so I guess we should consider it in the article. 🙂 آرمین هویدایی (talk) 21:33, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Since various music videos were released simultaneously with Legendaddy (some of which were referred to as singles), how should I order them on the "Singles from Legendaddy" infobox section on the album's article? Brankestein (talk) 21:59, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Brankestein Usually we put the singles from an album which were released simultaneously, in an alphabetic order. (Examples: "Kiss it Better" and "Needed Me" from Anti, "Fútbol y Rumba" and "Hasta Que Dios Diga" from Emmanuel, and "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You" from ÷.) While since "Rumbatón" was released specifically as the lead single, I guess "Agua" would come the second, between "Rumbatón" and "Remix". آرمین هویدایی (talk) 06:15, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. I thought simultaneous singles were ordered by track number. I will not edit the album's article at the time because I requested a peer review and apparently it would disappear from the "Unanswered" page if a single edit is made after the request.
