"Tengo Un Amor" (English: "I Have One Love") is the debut single by Puerto Rican-American singer-songwriter Toby Love from his self-titled debut studio album. It was released on November 6, 2006 by Sony BMG Norte. A remix version with R.K.M & Ken-Y was also recorded and included on the album. After separating from the Bachata group Aventura in 2006, Toby Love set out on his own to record his debut album. The song became a success in the Latin market, reaching number one in the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, the top five of both the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks and Billboard Latin Tropical Airplay charts while peaking at #100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.

After gaining popularity in Puerto Rico as a cover band, Cultura Profética began performing original music and released its debut album, Canción de Alerta, in 1998. The group followed up with Ideas Nuevas in 2000, which featured further musical experimentation with a wider variety of musical styles, and then Diario in 2004. After relocating to Mexico, the band released M.O.T.A. in 2005, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot Latin Albums chart. In 2010, La Dulzura was released, which took a more romantic lyrical focus and produced the radio hit "La Complicidad".

The album became a commercial success peaking at the top of the Mexican Albums Chart, entering the top five on the Billboard Top Latin Albums in the United States, and also being the twenty-third number 1 album by the band in the Regional Mexican Albums chart. It was certified Diamond+Gold by the Mexican Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas. To promote the album, Los Tigres del Norte released "Golpes en el Corazón", first included in their album El Ejemplo (1995), and re-recorded for the live album with fellow Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. The second single released was a new version of "La Jaula de Oro", featuring Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes. The third single released was "América", featuring René Pérez of Calle 13.
