Query for any brave admins on board[edit]

Because this RFC page was created via cut-paste move from WT:MED, its history is gone. Is that possible to correct with a history merge? I suspect not, but worth asking.

Also, would some brave adminly type please move this talk page to its page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Osmosis RfC, so that we can have a talk page associated with the RFC? I would do it myself, but the history merge query is above my pay grade. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:22, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly we might be better off closing the whole exhausting mess, since the community spoke pretty clearly on the essential point of the RfC and that result has already been acted on.
Additional discussions and proposals about how (or if) any of this video content might be salvaged for Wikipedia use, or more general discussion about lessons learned and how to avoid collaborations going so badly wrong in the future, might benefit from a 'clean slate', rather than being tacked on to the bottom of this chaos. We would need an independent closer, and it would still be beneficial for the RFC to be on the Wikipedia page, not the Wikipedia talk page, lest comments continue. The page is cluttered because we have no talk page. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:42, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
We didn't have an independent closer actually implement the conclusion of the RfC already; it seems silly to stand on ceremony. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 16:03, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you won't see making any moves here :) I just would really like it if someone would put the RFC on the page where it belongs, so we could leave this page free for talk. TOAT, what if you go to AN and ask for a close? Or is it up to @Doc James: to request that? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:51, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Doc James:, but you moved the page, and left a redirect, so we still have no talk page. The correct way to do it would be to empty the talk page, and fix all links to this page. (Then I can remove this talk section back to the talk page.) SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:14, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to do so. Yes it is a work in progress. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:27, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
