Autopatrolled

User:Princess of Ara

I recently noticed this user, Princess of Ara. An editor who works mainly on Nigerian related articles and others. While trying to appreciate the user's effort, I got in love with the lovely articles, well sources, written from a volunteer in good faith and now, I am requesting that she be granted the auto patrol user right. It'll also help reduce heavy backlog of NPP. Thanks for your consideration! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 08:05, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have created 75 articles, primarily focused on Sinophone cinema and fantasy literature, with 2 currently undergoing GAN. All of my articles have been promptly reviewed, and none of them have been deleted or marked for maintenance. I am requesting autopatrolled rights to alleviate the workload of the patrollers, especially those who actively review film articles and have reviewed the majority of my articles, allowing them to allocate more time to address articles that truly require attention. As a side note, I am a veteran editor on Chinese Wikipedia, having authored over 200 articles, including a dozen featured and good articles. While I fully understand that there are differences in policies and MOS across different Wikipedias, I believe this demonstrates my credibility and knowledge in assessing article quality.— Prince of EreborThe Book of Mazarbul 13:18, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I frequently create articles on notable subjects, having authored 530 articles, with the majority facing no issues. Only three were deleted, mainly due to changes in election results affecting their notability. I'm requesting autopatroller rights to ease the burden on other editors reviewing my articles and help reduce the backlog of new article reviews. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 23:36, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights: I have north of 600 articles created, including several dozen FAs. I intend to come out of retirement, and given the backlogs it may be easier to bring back my autopatrolled rights.  — Chris Woodrich (talk) 01:23, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm an AFC reviewer, ardent contributor to Women In Red (most of my articles are on women) and biological topics. Xtools shows I have 57 live articles, however as far as I can recall, I've created at least 2 articles from redirects. [note that out of the 4 deleted articles, 3 were self delete]. I've 5 passed DYKs and 1 GA so far. I hate stubs and do everything on my part to at least create a C or a bare minimum Start.

It'll be nice to have this right, as it'd reduce the backlog. One self-criticism I'd do here is at times I do not categorize pages myself and leave it for others. But I try to categorize some of the time, and I'll make sure I do not leave any pages I create from here on uncategorized. I've had a few warnings about copyvio, though they were a case of WP:LIMITED and once a case of accidental copy-paste. Nonetheless, I've been very careful ever since and will be perpetually.

I'm courtesy pinging administrator @Ipigott as they're somewhat familiar with my work, and we had some delightful interactions.

It's okay if you feel I should not be given this right as yet. Regards. X (talk) 20:29, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I've had a look and you aren't too far off. Apart from categorisation, the other obvious flaw is not defining DEFAULTSORT (please look up why that's important or what it is). I've taken your very latest article and made it "perfect" from a Manual of Style perspective, all in single steps so that you can see what else you could improve on. I hope that's useful. Please go back to your bios and define DEFAULTSORT where other editors haven't done that for you in the meantime. I'd say come back once you've written another half dozen articles, say, and I or someone else will have another look. If you have questions about any of those edits referred to above, please get in touch (via my talk page or an article's talk page; not here). Schwede66 23:48, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
