Bridge to Eden[edit]
This would be a suitable featured picture since the photograph is of high quality, sharp, high resolution, very colorful, well composed, and lend itself to draw people further into the article about the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden article. The photograph used there previously was predominately one color (olive green) and was poorly composed and not very high resolution, nor very sharp, nor did it have much impact on the viewer.

- It is probably the best image in the article, but the HDR effect seems a little over done to me. I think that voters wouldn't be too happy with such a narrow slice of scenery either. A wider panorama would tell the reader more about the gardens. Noodle snacks (talk) 02:08, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- I would have to agree with you on that one, Noodle. I do think a wider, more expansive panoramic shot would contribute better to the article. I think this, for me, was more of a landscape shot made to look pretty, not so much encyclopedic. And now that I think about it, the HDR does seem a bit overdone. - I really like the composition, and think it's quite appropriate for the BBG article; no matter how wide, no shot is going to be able to show all of the Japanese Garden there because of the way it's shaped, and this one gets a lot of key elements into a very efficient and attractive arrangement.
