Request reason:

I'm a Chinese user and I need use a free VPN to reach Wikipedia. However my ip address is blocked and I can't edit anymore

Decline reason:

The best advice I can give you, without requesting your IP address, which I understand you may be loathe to give up publicly, is to go to WP:IPECPROXY and follow those directions to request IP block exemption via email. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:44, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It doesn't look like any of the IPs you are using are currently blocked. What message do you get when you try to edit? Spicy (talk) 11:08, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Spicy It says I'm banned editing due to my ip address because there's something like "proxy" or else... I don't remember anyway. TsunamunaR (talk) 12:19, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IP block exempt[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking for a period of 6 months. If you still need an IP block exemption after it expires please file a new request. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.
