Your edits to TWiki[edit]

Please desist from aggressive removal of content from this page - it appears objective, and if you have valid grounds for its removal please continue the discussion on Talk:TWiki. 130.195.86.40 (talk) 08:00, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to ASCII[edit]

Hi. I notice you've made two fairly "dramatic" edits to ASCII. After getting over my suprise at your WP:BOLDness, I see that both are very good edits. Well done. Thanks, CWC(talk) 07:33, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks Chris. With this change I no longer need to visit another website with an ASCII table that was too slow to load due to many ads. -- PTh

Pivot tables[edit]

I noticed several complaints in the pivot table article about it not being clear. I added an example, with some pictures to hopefully clarify it. Please give it a look, I would appreciate any feedback! Wikidan829 16:10, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

twiki[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on TWiki. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 12:41, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Wiki application[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Wiki application, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Original terminology and original research. "Wiki application" is a synonym for "wiki software" in practically every book I've looked in. Nobody but the author of this article uses it to mean "a little application that runs on a wiki".

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Structured wiki[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Structured wiki. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Structured wiki. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Twiki_screen_4_0_a.png[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Twiki_screen_4_0_a.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Rettetast (talk) 10:30, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Wiki application, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wiki application. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Yaron K. (talk) 19:50, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An article on you[edit]

Hi Peter,

I noticed that the page Peter Thoeny was a redirect to TWiki. I replaced this redirect by a stub article in order to clearly expose the fact that you are the original founder of the TWiki project (in 1998, I think). And your are now providing commercial support for this product a part of the TWiki.net business.

I think this will clarify some concerns due to the fact that the TWiki page is now more and less TWiki and derivative.

Crop images with a visible Firefox window.[edit]

It appears you have the Firefox icon visible in some Twiki screenshots where it can be easily cropped out. They will need to be cropped out in order for the images to be identified as free again. mechamind90 20:54, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
