This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Hi. As much as I dislike the section Holograms in fiction you removed, it was probably the most sought after, since it got really many edits. I therefore recommend to put it in again, or somebody will rewrite it even longer. --Danh (talk) 16:41, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi, regarding your statement that you recently re-added to the btrfs article:
- "Btrfs is intended to address the lack of a file system in Linux with pooling, snapshots, checksums and integral multi-device spanning—features crucial as the use of Linux scales upward into larger storage configurations common in the enterprise."
Now, I agree with the rest of the statement, but how is filesystem-level multi-device support crucial for enterprise storage? Enterprise storage systems just need multi-device support and don't care how it is implemented. Linux has supported multi-device block devices for over a decade, so I don't think it's relevant in this list. -- intgr [talk] 22:03, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

The article Optics (politics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is not a dictionary; this seems to be a pure dictionary definition, with little potential to become a viable article.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Thanks for uploading File:Apache Wicket logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
