September 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Organization, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Waterfox (talk) 20:16, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Waterfox,

I am puzzled that you reverted all my edits on the organization page, rather than specific edits. Your mass action makes it difficult for me to understand what you found as not constructive about my edits. Perhaps you did not notice that the top of the article page is tagged as "in need of reorganization to comply with Wikipedia's layout guidelines". My efforts to improve the article have all been made with that aim in mind (and yes, I have read the layout guidelines).
If your objection is to the blanking of the section on the organization of the artist, I would point out that the entire section is duplicated on the separate page of that title. There is still a link to that separate page in the "see also" section of the main organization page.
I would respectfully request that you unrevert that edit regarding the section blanking only, and put the other contributions I have recently made to the article back into the current version. Ms. Citizen (talk) 20:26, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Of course. Sometimes we do things too fast — this is one of these times. I've reverted my original revert. I hope that I didn't hurt your will to contribute to Wikipedia. —Waterfox (talk) 20:35, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Mscitizen,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
