A tag has been placed on File:Eco-annandale2014-3.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I have deleted the photo. If you are copyright holder, please send an email to the OTRS team using the instructions at WP:Consent. Note that permission is also required from the artist for the incorporated artwork. -- Diannaa (talk) 03:37, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Apparent conflict of interest and usage on non-RS references.[edit]

Hi, I notice that you have recently added material to the articles Whites Creek (Annandale) and Joseph Monier. In both cases, the material you added is referenced only to ramin.com. Ramin.com is a self-published website with no apparent editorial control or fact checking history. As such it fails to meet WP:RS and can not be used as a reference on Wikipedia. This was the reason I removed the material from those articles in the first place. I also assume from your user name that you are Marghanita da Cruz, who is named as creator and primary writer of ramin.com. If this is the case, then you are in violation of Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest policy. An editor can not make edits that promote their own interests, including those of your external relationships, such as with family, friends or employers. I strongly encurage you to read the policy on writing about yourself. If you feel that I have made a mistake, for example if ramin.com can be shown to have a strong editorial and fact-checking system or if you are not Marghanita da Cruz, then please feel free to discuss it on my talk page, the talk pages of the articles in question or here on your talk page. Please do not add any ore material form this source until this has been satisfactorily resolved. Thank you, Mark Marathon (talk) 09:27, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mark, ramin.com.au has very strong fact checking, with references provided. However, I acknowledge there is a conflict of interest. So, where possible, in the above two articles, I have provided links to websites other than ramin.com.au and deleted references to information, which did not have alternate references as ramin.com.au is the original source on the Web. - Marghanita

Quotations[edit]

While contributions should be in new words in most cases, in some examples such as your recent edit to Abortion in Australia, a suitably short direct quotation is acceptable. However it should be in quotation marks. I've added them for you.--S Philbrick(Talk) 13:03, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Cooks River/Castlereagh Ironbark ecological community[edit]

Hi, I'm Robvanvee. Marghanita, thanks for creating Cooks River/Castlereagh Ironbark ecological community!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The lead could use expansion. Otherwise, good job!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Robvanvee 17:26, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bush Music Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
