Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Kojo Dadson. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 20:07, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 14:01, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. I'm still at sea as to why the content was taken down. I used multiple sources and tried to stick to the rules of writing on Wikipedia. Could you kindly investigate further? Personally I don't think I violated anything. In any case, does it mean all the information i put out is in violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy? It's rather unfortunate that my hardwork has been taken down in a matter of seconds. Quite disheartening. Kindly let me know what you find out from your investigations. Meanwhile, I'm hopeful that my work will be restored and everything goes back to normal. Cheers Kwabran (talk) 14:54, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 154.160.30.234. Kwabran (talk) 11:45, 13 December 2022 (UTC) [reply]

Decline reason:

Yes, that IP is blocked. Since you are not, you can edit from a different IP, and I can't unblock your account since it's not blocked, so this is a procedural decline. If you would like to avoid this situation in the future (and really, who wouldn't?), I recommend you go to WP:IPECPROXY and follow the instructions there to request IP block exemption. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:33, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
