Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

BLP[edit]

Hi, I redacted your mentioning of a specific user in relation to allegations on Jimbo's talk page. Given that so far there is no source other than yourself, and no other confirmation, accusing a specific user of a crime is inappropriate. Our WP:BLP policy extends to all namespaces and covers any living person, including editors. If there is substance to your claims then specific discussion of names, with supporting evidence, should occur in private. --Errant (chat!) 15:54, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So despite my friendly note I see you continued to press the use of the individuals name in that discussion. I've blocked you for 24 hours - I suggest your next step is to actually provide some evidence of your allegations to Jimbo and WMUK via email, and I am sure they will action it. --Errant (chat!) 16:09, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
