Hello. I saw you query on Jimbo's talk page. There are three distinct possibilities:

This article is about the Australian settler. For the columnist, see John Boston (columnist).
This article is about the columnist. For the Australian settler, see John Boston (Australian settler).

The first of the three alternatives should be used unless one of the two "John Boston"s should be regarded as the principal one (e.g. the page about Julius Caesar is about the ancient Roman statesman and if there were also a Julius Caesar who is noted for inventing the electric doorknob, his article would be Julius Caesar (electric doorknob inventor) or the like).

I'd guess in this case the first alternative is the right one. So if you look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation, you'll see how disambiguation pages should be formatted. Looking at some examples might suffice for that. E.g. Kiva (disambiguation). Michael Hardy (talk) 01:45, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
