- Who led you to believe it? I don't want to give away too much about my background but I am in a position to know for certain that is not the case. Apart from anything else, there is no 'editor' of either the Chronicle or the Midweek Chronicle. There is an editor-in-chief of all the group's newspapers and a deputy editor who runs the Chronicle newsdesk but neither of those posts changed hands when the Midweek was launched. - The person who lead me to believe this may have been incorrect. They didn't have anything to do with the Chronicle, but they were in a position where I would have believed them to be correct. I also thought David Holmes was the editor of the Chronicle... but apparently this is not the case either. Anyway, the matter seems to have been resolved now. Seivad 12:15, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
