This user served with the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

Endrick, glad to meet you! Thank you for the kind offer of the image, but the blazon of the Colour is not correct. The Sovereign's Colour for the RAuxAF has, in place of the roundel as charge subordinary in the fourth canton within the fly, the AAF 'mistral wings', azure, surmounted by the astral crown, or, but is still per fesse by the standard Royal Cypher (the wings+crown are as you can see here [1]). I *may* eventually get around to creating a miniature version of the RAuxAF Colour, but if you beat me to it, good on you.

The reason for the use of the Corps Banner, there, was (for me) not just as a placemarker, it had a deliberate, non-metaphorical personal significance when I used it- apologies if this sounds rather cryptic, I have been in conversation with 21stCenturyGreenstuff regarding a short written summary, explaining a link between the ROC Banner and the RAuxAF Sovereign's Colour, that I had provided to Neville about a year-and-a-bit ago just doesn't appear to have been published, or otherwise passed on. So I may consider regenerating it, as some kind of footnote on the ROC wiki page... Citidel (talk) 11:34, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CTC[edit]

The original author of the source reference article signed on and claimed infringement of his copyright, saying that the rewording we undertook was insufficient to avoid plagurism assertions. The case went to arbitration and the reviewer found in favour of the copyright holder. He insisted the whole article was deleted, stating that his original work was sufficient for anyone researching the CTC and a wikipedia article would harm future sales of a book he is writing on the topic. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 23:49, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
