Celestial Heights

我還留意到你在英文版創建的部分香港大型建築物條目也曾被掛上刪除或速刪模板。Celestial Heights很明顯可以達到英文版的知名度要求，我可以過幾天再找一份明報、經濟或者星島在2008年開售時的專題詳細介紹，加上學術雜誌building journal就有2份以上深入介紹來源。其實你寫這些英文版的目的是甚麼，能否簡單告訴我？而你在討論是否刪除的立場是甚麼？是希望與他們爭論單純以知名度（甚至有人以local interest來作為刪除理由）等是否合適的刪除理由，也就是我在中文維基互助客棧/方針提出的理由，還是選擇妥協，補回2份深入介紹來源來應酬他們以結束今次討論，但不保證每次都有時間去找深入介紹來源？其實我傾向不與他們去爭論，因為我覺得沒有多少中文讀者會對英文版的香港建築物條目有興趣，英文版是否有條目也就對中文讀者及編者不重要，而且我也沒有時間逐一回應他們對這些條目的提刪或知名度要求。如果最後他們的共識是不收錄這些條目（即使符合知名度要求），我只是對他們的決定感到遺憾，因為非中文讀者不能從維基百科認識香港大型建築物的規劃、設計、建造、銷售及歷史等的知識，那是英文維基及讀者的損失。Baycrest(Talk) 18:46, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

英文版建築物條目被刪除問題

「其實你寫這些英文版的目的是甚麼，能否簡單告訴我？而你在討論是否刪除的立場是甚麼？ 」 主要是與中文版作對照，加上我從網上也找到很多關於這些條目的英文版資料。我不覺得他們不認識的條目便代表要被刪除，我們在英文版也不認識很多條目，難道我們也要申請刪除？最可笑的是，「首都」條目被申請刪除，但「日出康城」就可以保留，但沒有人提出將它們合併。那班人究竟知不知道自己在做甚麼。 Ricky@36 (talk) 00:27, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

其實building journal沒有記錯是英文雜誌，而那兩個知名摩天大廈網站也是英文網站，我也認為英文維基應收錄香港建築物條目，這樣才有利長遠發展。你有空的話可以細心留意中文及英文維基的一些條目，寫得出有價值內容的條目有時會版人以並非與質量相關的原因（例如知名度）提刪，相反符合知名度或者大家認為重要的條目，即使寫不出有價值內容，甚至有些條目只有一兩句，也沒有看到有人提刪或改善。也希望你有時間關心一下中文那邊的刪除討論，對於值得保留的條目請投下保留票。 Baycrest(Talk) 17:42, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Liaoning

Hi, I see you uploaded an image of this aircraft carrier. The image name is "File:Aircraft Carrier Liaoning CV-16.jpg". It's clear that its hull number is "16", but do you have a source that confirms it has the hull code "CV"....? Thank you - ^theWOLFchild 04:47, 16 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi, first of all I have to apologize for not replying until now, as I have just found your message my Commons talk page (maybe I have read it but skipped accidentally). For the question you asked, I remember I didn't have a reliable source stated the hull code "CV" when I published the image. However there are some websites (e.g. [1][2][3]) used "CV" in front of "16" before I published the image. I thus referred to some of them and used "Aircraft Carrier Liaoning CV-16" as the name of the aircraft carrier. Baycrest(Talk) 14:48, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
