Helping with a draft

I was asked for help with a draft but I didn't know what advice to give. I asked here but you responded to the next question and ignored mine.— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:31, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

To editor Vchimpanzee: sad Sorry, I was thinking about how to answer. I'll have a response shortly. Anon126 (talk - contribs) 19:39, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
I'm rejoining the real world now and won't see this for several days. Perhaps you could help the person directly. Thanks.— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 21:22, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Oops, your answer was there, not here.— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 14:20, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi, you tagged the lead on this article as needing a rewrite. Any specific suggestions would really help. --Wtshymanski (talk) 23:26, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

WP Mentorship

Hi Anon126, there is a proposal ongoing about a development of Wikipedia mentoring, to make it slicker and a better, more standerdised process. We would love to have you on board, and would appreciate your help, anything you can do, from reading the proposal and leaving comments to volunteering to be a part of the scheme is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matty.007 16:22, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

Re:Thanks for diffusing!

No problems. If any other editors got any more ideas after mine, please encourage them to do so. When I decided to diffuse the category, I was worrying that the administrators would accuse me of vandalism. Knowing you approve of what I've done make me feel relief about this.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 07:58, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

About your review

At first I want to thank you for your review. I've already removed some information. I was wondering if you inform me whether I could make it restricted so that anyone couldn't easily edit the article as you know it's about an organisation. Or any kind of suggestions to get rid of this problem.

Thank you.

To editor Shahriar.khaled786: I've looked over it, and I think the detail level is fine for now. As for restrictions, sorry, that's not likely to happen. No one owns any article, so an organization's article can't be controlled by the organization. Pages are sometimes protected from editing, but that is only for serious problems. Thank you Anon126

Bonjour:

Yes indeed, I am trying to upload her picture unfortunately wikicommon is not connecting with the wikipage in my sandbox. Will you please upload it?

A second request, for some reason, I am unable to link my text to wiki (highlighted in blue as it does in all published articles), will you please help?

Cheers

Hello, I assume you are Ajbaptiste but logged out, and that you are referring to Draft:Misoon Ghim? I am not sure what other image you want to add. About the links, I've fixed the category links at the bottom; were you concerned about those? Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 20:14, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

USCGC Tupelo

Thank you for your recent edits to USCGC Tupelo (WLB-303). Be advised the U.S. Coast Guard may commission a new Tupelo in the future, same name, but different designation; eg: WLB-XXX. This could possibly necessitate another edit. Thank you for remembering our ship, and your interest in U.S. Coast Guard history. Semper ParatusTjlynnjr (talk) 17:12, 29 April 2014 (UTC).

Article Submission

Dear Anon126,

I hope you are doing well over there!

I have submitted an article to Wikipedia earlier.

The article can can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Sebastian_Springer

I was hoping that you take a look at it and let me know if any further modifications are still required.

Sorry for running to you like this. I hope this is not annoying. :)

Thank you for assistance!

Kind Regards, — Preceding unsigned comment added by GlobalScientists150 (talkcontribs) 16:04, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

To editor GlobalScientists150: Hello, no it's not a problem (though I'm not sure if we've met on Wikipedia before).
The submission needs more sources that are about him, not by him. Generally, most of the information should come from sources of information that are neither written by him nor affiliated with him; these are the independent sources required to show notability.
That is, has any of the following...
  • His academic work
  • His teaching
  • His awards
...been discussed by...
  • A newspaper?
  • A magazine?
  • His academic peers?
There are also other ways for an academic professional to be notable on Wikipedia. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 21:43, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

I've proposed a merger

I've started a discussion to merge the List of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic characters with the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic page, and I would appreciate some input. You may find the discussion here. User:Immblueversion (talk) 18:58, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Already watching. I will comment soon. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 19:38, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, I read more into the details on merging articles after I first posted the discussion, and I learned that it should typically take place on the talk page of the destination article; I meant to delete it from the list's talk page. Looking at it again, though, apparently it's acceptable to discuss it on the source page. I reckon I should just leave both discussions alone. User:Immblueversion (talk) 22:31, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
