Introduction section[edit]

I request updating the 2017 statistic in the introductory section regarding the number of members/vehicles on Turo as follows:

In 2017, according to Turo, four million users had registered to use the service and 170,000 privately owned cars were available for rental.[1]

As of 2020, the website has 14 million members and 450,000 vehicles listed.[2]

History section[edit]

I request adding the latest funding round to the end of the History section as follows:

"In July 2019, InterActiveCorp (IAC) invested $250 million in venture capital funding.[3] The investment made IAC Turo's largest shareholder.[3] This was followed by a $30 million funding round in February 2020.[4]"

Proposed Infobox[edit]

I would like to propose the below infobox replacement that incorporates the following updates:

  • Remove Germany under "area served" as we no longer operate there (source)
  • Add British Columbia, Canada under "area served" as Turo recently expanded there this month (source)
  • Remove Shelby Clark from "key people" as he is no longer involved in the day-to-day of the company (source) (he is still listed as founder)
  • Add IAC as owner, since they are now our largest shareholder (see above).
