The Chalo Chatu Foundation (CCF) [1] is a non-profit and charitable organization headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia. The foundation was founded in 2016 by Jason Mulikita as a way to fund the Chalo Chatu encyclopedia through non-profit means.[2][3] Jason Mulikita is chair of the board and Chabota Kanguya saves as the Chief of operations since June 2016.[4] The Foundation has stated its goal is to document Zambia and maintain an open free content website to provide documented information about Zambia and its history for free. The foundation's by-laws declare a statement of purpose of collecting and developing educational content.[5] The Foundation relies on public contributions fund its mission. It is not a private foundation, and contributions to it qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions. The continued technical and economic growth of each of the Chalo Chatu is dependent on donations.[6][7][8]
