The standard delivery mechanism for blocks.

Blocking is the removal of a disruptive user's influence on Wikipedia. This blocking delivery mechanism can used only once per target, largely because it's effectiveness leaves little target for a second strike. The weapon functions by creating a NPOV field in which ideas contrary to constructive writing are torn apart at the molecular level. These free subatomic particles continue to break up other molecules, effectively a form of nuclear fission. This creates a large fireball often mistaken for a conventional nuclear explosion that incinerates the user and their computer, thereby cauterizing the spread of their malicious intentions.

Merging can be an exciting but dangerous activity.

Merging is the process of combining pages into a new, larger, and hopefully improved page. It is similar to moving or renaming pages, which may be used in conjunction with merging. Moving pages should be done with proper safety equipment, such as the mask shown here, and a double redirect repairer, preferably automatic. Merges should be done smoothly and carefully, because cruder forms can pose a hazard to the user and the workpiece. For this reason, moving and merging are restricted to users who are logged in and have minimal experience at other, less dangerous jobs.

Administrators are an integral part of Wikipedia's cleanup force.

Administrators are users with special access privileges in order to make Wikipedia run smoother. They are often considered part of the Cleanup Crew and are ritually given mops upon promotion. The requirements for promotion are becoming stricter for unknown reasons. Speculation has it that tools such as blocking, protecting pages, and rollback are too powerful for new users. However, the rights and powers associated with administrators, despite the notion that it comes with responsibilities as well, has created a large number of administrators.

An example of cleanup.

The terraforming of a planet, moon, or other body is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying its atmosphere, temperature, or ecology to be similar to those of Earth in order to make it habitable by humans. Humans currently do not possess the technological or economic means to terraform another planet or moon.

A sock puppet.Another sock puppet.

A sock puppet is an alternative account used deceptively. Some examples that clearly violate this policy would be using two usernames to vote more than once in a poll, or to circumvent other Wikipedia policies.

All Wikipedians may register a username from which they may edit. This account will, over time, build up an edit history and become that person's Wikipedia "identity", helping others to interact with the person and understand their interests and point of view.

Wikipedians prize their use of consensus to determine issues and their assumption that most people are trying to help the project. Sock puppets are used to counter these prized features by creating the illusion of greater support for a viewpoint and evading sanctions.
