Baikhous[1] is an award winning, Real Bread bakery based in Renfrewshire, Scotland. They make artisanal breads, pastries and other baked goods using entirely Scottish grains.

The word baikhous is an old Scots word that was first recorded around 500 years ago[2], but fell out of usage after the standardisation of the Scots and English languages.

Baikhous won the Reserve Champion award at the inaugural Scottish Bread Championships in 2017, at the Royal Highland Show in Ingleston and a Gold award for their Wholemeal sourdough.

Three Bronze awards followed in 2018 for Baikhous Baps, the Crossmyloaf and a Scotland The Bread Heritage wheat sourdough.
