The Vienna station (Polish: Dworzec Wiedeński, also Warsaw-Vienna station (Dworzec Warszawsko-Wiedeński), later Main station (Dworzec Główny)) was the first railway station in the city of Warsaw, capital of Poland. Construction of the first railway in Congress Poland started in April 1840. Long for 309 kilometres (192 mi) line connected Warsaw, capital of the Russian Poland, with the border of Austrian Partition and further to Vienna.[1]
