Always display?[edit]

Would it be an idea to set Vertebrata to always display? It is by far the best know "non-major" unit, much more so than Amniota and possibly Tetrapoda. Petter Bøckman (talk) 18:12, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since to date, manual taxoboxes haven't displayed it, I think we'd better not without gaining approval from the relevant WikiProjects first. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 00:19, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Peter. In the various classes under this sub-phylum, they are often much more identified with other vertebrates than the other chordates. I hadn't even heard of mammaliaforms until I looked up mammals today. Nutster (talk) 23:57, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mammaliaformes isn't always displayed, either-- Animalia and Chordata are the only ones currently displaying on all vertebrate pages. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 00:01, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mammaliformes is hardly as well known as Vertebrata though. Petter Bøckman (talk) 00:04, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, this being an upper-level taxon, an RfC needs posted at the WP:TOL with announcements at all daughter projects related to the Vertebrata. Be my guest. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 00:19, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please change parent to Olfactores as Agnatha are monophyletic, leaving Chordata as a junior synonym to Vertebrata. To check validity, please check vertebrata page. Jmv2009 (talk) 19:54, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
