Semi-protected edit request on 17 August 2020[edit]

The population numbers haven't been updated in 1 & half years, and there's more recent data available. From: Statistics Finland. The data is still preliminary, but as far as accuracy goes the current data seems to have been referred to while it was still preliminary as well. So in requested concise form: "Please change the population numbers from 2019 to the most current data linked". Polyhistorianic (talk) 19:13, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done, at least for now. Updating these numbers will require changes to hundreds of pages, and it seems like there are editors that periodically go around doing this with scripts or bots or some kind of technical black magic that I'm not familiar with. I suggest just waiting for now, or alternatively reaching out to Apalsola, who seems to be the one that did the last update. ◢  Ganbaruby!  (Say hi!) 13:28, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jonesey95, See Category:Convert errors. I am sure this change causes some of these errors because some locations were removed. But it appears that most of these error are caused by something else. MB 16:30, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
