Comment: "In popular culture" section was not counted when 5X expansion began on Dec.17 per DYK rules (only prose, not lists must be expanded). Christmas themed hook, hope for a review in time to make the Christmas queues. Krampus will be angry if he misses out!

I'm not sure it is 5x but hey its Christmas. It has enough refs and size. So to check the hook I put in "Alpine" and go to find the ref.... can you make is so I can find a ref? Thanks Victuallers (talk) 22:12, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Should be pretty close, started with 1270 chars., and it's about 6300 now in the prose department. I've added a ref in the "Krampusnacht" section, basically the first three sentences in that section are based on that ref, and make up the hook fact. It's from the Folklore article, which gives a general overview as well as details on Styrian Krampusses (or Krampi?). This one was fun to write. Krampus is pretty wild! I've added a ref for the DYK fact that you find when you search for the word "Alpine" and removed the stub label. Still got the 5x issue but I'm told that on December 25th this will only be a 2x requirement as it will turn into a bio article with "living=yes". Merry Christmas every one. I will happily endorse the idea of treating this as a sufficient expansion. In the past ~10 days, the prose content increased roughly 9x and a bunch of bulleted text was added. Yes, it does not measure as a 5x expansion when the baseline is one of the longer versions that existed circa 2 years ago, but those longer versions got trimmed back pretty quickly (repeatedly) with edit summaries saying that the content was unsourced tripe (or similar themes). --Orlady (talk) 21:33, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
