Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir, BWV 130[edit]

Michael, the archangel

  • Reviewed: Yad Kennedy
  • Comment: hopefully on 29 September - the tune is the same as "Praise God, from whom all blessings flow", nice fact, but I would not know how to mention it

Created/expanded by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self nom at 22:42, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Article length, date and sources are fine. Hook, however, is not sourced at all (it appears in the lead, but with no references whatsoever). Yazan (talk) 08:25, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I had to stop, too tired, will resume now, please watch, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:31, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Now the hook is sourced. I will add paragraphs on the music and recordings. Perhaps we can include the tune that everybody will know, even has an article ;)
AT1: ... that the base of Bach's cantata Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir, BWV 130, for the feast of Michael (pictured) on 29 September 1724 is a hymn by Paul Eber sung to a famous tune? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:22, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • The facts of the hook are dispersed throughout the article, but they are all referenced and have inline citations. AGF on foreign language source. This is good to go! Yazan (talk) 09:51, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • NB: I've moved the nomination to the special holding area for 29 September. Yazan (talk) 10:06, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Thank you! This is so far my only nomination approved before the article was written ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:14, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
