Military rank[edit]

The description of Ruppert as "an SS trooper" may be wrong. His German Wikipedia article describes him as an SS-Obersturmführer. The English article on Obersturmführer says this is the equivalent of 1st lieutenant in foreign armies. Verbcatcher (talk) 00:25, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
