Requested move[edit]

I think that the name "Weight loss camp" would be more Politically Correct.--72.208.195.160 14:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • no Declined - Although Weight-loss camp is more politically correct, it is common sense to leave the article name as something that is likely to be more searchable. Rudget Contributions 16:10, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you had taken the time to actually do a search on Fat camp at Google you would see that the search is transformed into Weight loss camp. You will also find that the term Fat camp is part of the MTV culture, is far too close to the South Park comedy, is hate speech and is not in keeping with Wikipedia standards. This article has no value and should be deleted. Summer Vacation (talk) 00:36, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion necessary[edit]

I believe that it is necessary to expand the article as to include scientific results possibly and more health and change related information to show how the camps are quite different from the normal.

Ridiculous[edit]

This article is ridiculous. The "popular culture" section takes up more space than the actual article text. Geschichte (talk) 19:05, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
