This was a very careless prod, for a major artist. There are dozens at least of good sources in G News archive, more in GBooks, and in worldcat. WP:BEFORE remains a guideline. I added a few representative ones. The article here was based on only the first half of the one in itWP, and this was easy to see also. it needs work, but the work will be better done by some with more than my very low degree of skill in reading Italian. Careless work when it was entered, with a careless attempt to solve it by removing it instead of by looking for sources. DGG ( talk ) 00:09, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
