Removed speculative section[edit]

I removed the following passage:

It is not clear how widespread ToolTalk support became, if at all. It is mentioned vary rarely on the internet, although this may be an indication of age rather than use. Sun's own documentation is very limited, which appears to be a better indicator of real-world use.

I think it's actually pretty clear how widespread inclusion of ToolTalk became in OS implementations, since it's part of CDE, and is (presumably?) the underlying mechanism for things such as drag and drop in the XView and OLIT toolkits. Perhaps the question is how much the average application developer would make use of ToolTalk given that its primary functions were hidden by higher level layers? It might be useful to contrast this to how an equivalent framework is used today. I don't know enough myself to make this comparison.--NapoliRoma 15:11, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
