@BOZ: The spelling "Encylopediac" is unusual, to say the least. A web search finds this page which uses the expected spelling. Do you have a copy of the book itself? -- John of Reading (talk) 17:52, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I got that spelling from this review: [1]. Although, now that I'm looking at it, at minimum I am missing a "c". :) Whether the "a" belongs there or not is another question; User:Guinness323 do you see anything in wargaming sources for this one? BOZ (talk) 20:45, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Beyond obscure. I can find other works by George Phillies (Designing Wargames: Introduction, Designing Modern Strategy Games), but strangely, even on his personal bio page (https://users.wpi.edu/~phillies/), there is no mention of this encyclopedia. I would assume The Space Gamer made a typo and that it is simply "Encyclopedia". Guinness323 (talk) 02:48, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
