Would it be possible to use this image in the article? It says one should contact the WHOI Media Relations if one wants to use it. Since I wouldn't know what license or permissions to use when uploading I leave this for someone else to do. --Kaminix (talk) 00:07, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

a better phrase[edit]

Can we get a better phrase than "protrusions that cascade like dominoes"? The protrusions couldn't possibly cascade like dominoes; a synchronous movement is surely being described.--Wetman (talk) 17:39, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually discovered in 2007?[edit]

Discovery (capturing of animal) and description of the species must have been mixed up here. Formal description of Teuthidodrilus samae was submitted to journal in 2010 and published in 2011. Animals were captured earlier. Mithril (talk) 14:41, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
