Is there a reason the accents on individuals names keep being removed? Say: César Cielo, Dániel Gyurta, Milorad Čavić, Felipe França Silva, Rafael Muñoz Pérez (whose record, incidently is Rafael Muñoz (swimmer)), Frédérick Bousquet, Grégory Mallet, Sarah Sjöström, and Katinka Hosszú. The accented characters are not included in the start lists or results because the software doesn't support them (scoreboard displays tend to be a particular problem). They should most likely be included here, to more accurately reflect their name. And please note, these accents should be viewed differently from adding/removing letters from names (e.g. Anastasia Zueva's last name is spelled without a "y" at swimming events where her name appears in the Latin alphabet). - Hooperswim (talk) 16:18, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
