Diploma in Sleep Medicine[edit]

The Diploma in Sleep Medicine was first offered by the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa in 2007. The Diploma requires 2 years of training in an accredited facility and then a qualifying examination through the Colleges of Medicine's - Neurology division. Dr Yacoob Carrim, Sleep Medicine Specialist was the first diplomat on the 15th October 2009. He is General Medicine Practitioner based in Pretoria, South Africa. he writes a blog http://zasleep.blogspot.com covering topics in Sleep. That's very interesting! The blog looks serious and up-to-date. Our article is not very international, and the above information would be an improvement. What sources may we cite? A 'Who's Who'? Press releases by the College of Neurology or others? We should have at least one good source in English and then perhaps sources in other languages.

When did Dr. Carrim attain the Diploma?

Information about the length and content of study necessary to attain the Diploma would be an interesting item, too. - Hordaland (talk) 10:42, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
