This line in the introduction needs a citation: "His ‘Memoirs’, covering the years 1638 to 1648, were first published in 1806 and are a valuable first-hand source for the civil war period in northern England."
His wife's maiden name is spelled one way in the text and another way in the infobox.
The Baronets of Nova Scotia succession box is at the end, but there is no mention in the article. The Nova Scotia baronetage list in the linked article does not appear to have the Slingsby baronetage. I'm not sure if this is important or not.
